Update Nov. 2022

Hey y’all!

Anna here.

It’s been a while! I have been taking a break from adding to this shop since I realized that running an online shop and managing inventory takes a lot out of me.

I have been focusing on my own art and commissions over on my own website which you can check out here if you are interested.

I have been trying to figure out my next steps with this shop and coordinating with some peers for possible partnering to help share the love and labor. I plan to get a new camera so I can get better product shots and spend less time editing.

There should hopefully be a new round of items (and maybe some restructuring to the product listings so I don’t have to write a story for each individual item) very soon!

This products are really important to me and something I have cherished my whole life, and I really want to make sure I do my best to show you the beauty I see in while all while still staying safe and sane.

Thank you all who have been patiently waiting and otherwise supportive of this very small business!

Holiday Shop Update

Hi Everyone, Anna here.

I’m writing to give you an update on the state of this shop.

Fuchsia Llama is run by one person (me), and I have been having trouble keeping up this holiday session while still being a person. I’ve decided to slow my additions on this shop until the holiday whirlwind of energy settles down so that I can take care of myself.

I will still fulfill any orders placed during this time, but new items will be added later to the shop.

I am really grateful for all of you whole have come and supported the shop, and I am excited to share what’s new in the coming months!

In the mean time, you can stay engaged by following Fuchsia Llama on instagram @fuchsiallama or sign up for our mailing list.

Thanks again, happy holidays, and see you in 2021!

Welcome!

1.

Who Am I?

I am a creative and fun loving llama who wants to brighten the world one handmade product at a time. I love chowing down on plants and going on hikes!

“I’m a llama. I don’t say many quotable things.”

— Fuchsia the Llama

2.

Why am I doing this?

I believe in the power of handmade objects. As a llama, I know my fur makes amazing wool, and I’ve seen the beautiful and functional creations humans have made with it. So growing up, that was my inspiration. I’ve realized that it feels good to be a part of a cycle that I can see and that I know is directly improving other’s lives in my community. Fuchsia Llama is my ways of doing just that.

3.
What will I blog about?

I’ll share updates on all thing Fuchsia Llama as they develop. This will probably be in the form of various posts like new product updates, behind the scene snapshots, interviews, and some original llama web-comics!

4.
Who are you writing for?

Anyone who wants to know about the Fuchsia Llama shop or me. Whether you’re new and curious, or you’re a hardcore llama-lover checking in, I will keep you up to date on all things llama.

5.
How can readers get involved?

Let me know what you think! Eagerly accepting feedback and suggestions for how to improve Fuchsia Llama.

Are you interested in some kind of collaboration? Contact me here and tell me all about it.

6.
What is the overall goal of the blog? In 3-6 months?

The goal is to celebrate everyone’s creativity and to share my love of textiles and one of a kind art with others. I want to uplift other creatives types and keep you informed while I do so. Over the next 6 months, I’d love to have spotlight interviews with the people powering Fuchsia Llama, and showcase other artist who are doing compatible work! Once the buzz of launch settles down a bit, I’m excited to sit down and draw some web-comics for you about my llama community and share those with you.
